I designed the Adjust-a-Cord so I could have one tool that does everything I-Cord. They can be adjusted to allow for 2, 3 or 4 stitch I-Cord, different yarn thicknesses, various tension requirements, left or right-hand dominant people and different chaining techniques. The needles can also be arranged diagonally which I find helps make the action of pulling the work off the top of the needles easier than straight needles.
Comes with 4 standard needles for 2, 3 or 4-stitch i-cord.
Suitable for Sock, DK and Aran weighted yarn.
- Change width between needles. The further apart the needles, the thicker yarn it can accommodate or looser the stitch must be
- Needles can be placed in a straight line or diagonally slanted both left and right leaning. This helps crafters to use it comfortably regardless of their preferred chaining technique or dominant hand
- To switch the slant direction, flip the side of the tool with the slanted holes in it around.
- Slanted needles make it easier to pull the i-cord off the top of the tool than straight needles.
- All models include three sets of M5 nuts and bolts as well as the necessary needles.
Measurements (not including hooks, nuts or bolts): 9.5cm long, 5.4cm wide, 0.7cm thick
The needles used are the same ones a LK150 knitting machine would use. If you lose yours replacements are easy to obtain.
