The 'Big Bead' Tatting shuttle is a shuttle I designed with beadwork in mind.

It features:
• Internal eyelet hook for bead management
    - Simply insert your working thread into the eyelet hook to prevent beads travelling up the thread while tatting.
    - Works even with tiny seed beads
   
• Optional end hook for picot joining
    - 0.5mm hook securely glued into the end for joining small picots
    - Please note that the hook is only short and is unsuitable for picking up beads to thread on to picots. You will need a separate hook for this.

• It's BIG!
    - Lots of beads? Using thick thread? Limited dexterity making smaller shuttles tricky to use? No problem!
    - The size of this shuttle is based on the shuttle size preferences of skilled bead tatters.
    - The dimensions are as follows
Shuttle Thickness: 22mm
Shuttle Width: 27mm (Working Width including bobbin 31mm)
Shuttle Length: 91mm (not including hook. Hook will be 3-5mm long, variation possible due to hand finished nature of shuttle)

• Bobbins!
    - The bobbin sticks out of the side of the shuttle for easy one-handed winding and unwinding with your fingers and thumb.
    - The bobbin is large enough to wind with your hands without dropping.
    - Additional spare bobbins are available for purchase.
    - Bobbins make a satisfying 'click!' when they slide into place.

For any customisation you require, please reach out via message. If you are a left-handed tatter I can insert the eyelet the other way round (so the eyelet opening is towards you) upon request.
