Tatting Tidy

I wanted compact solution for storing my tatting shuttles, project and extra thread while out and about. This is that solution! It comes with a magnetic hook for tricky picots, bobbin storage, a large bobbin for winding your ball of thread onto which is magnetically attached inside for spinning freely and supplying thread through a hole in the case, and even the lid magnetically attaches for extra security. Can you tell I like magnets? 😅

Features
• Compact box with two main compartments. One for shuttles, the other for your ball of thread or the supplied large bobbin if your ball of thread is too large.
• A shelf to store three sewing machine bobbins to replace your working bobbins with.
• A hook embedded inside an easy-to-grip magnetic handle for tricky picots. The magnetic handle is designed to stick to the lid of the box to prevent it from falling and getting lost. When not in use the hook slots into a hole in the bobbin shelf to prevent tangles.
• The large bobbin is designed for you to wind your ball thread onto. The magnets allow it to rotate freely to supply thread. There is a slot in the side of the box for the thread to go through so you can pull extra thread out with the lid on - a bit like a yarn bowl, but with a lid!
• The sewing machine bobbins on the shelf can also be used to store extra thread on and pulled through the slot with the lid on, in the same way as the large bobbin.
• The lid and base are printed on a textured plate to help hide scratches and imperfections from use.


The tatting tidy was designed with my Universal tatting shuttles in mind but can be used with any shuttles you desire.
