This shuttle was developed in collaboration with friend and fellow crafter @Bearded_Weaver on TikTok as a solution for doubling, tripling and quadrupling strands of thin gold brocade thread to help them stand out more in weaving. If you weave with thinner threads and want to experiment with colour transitions, doubling/tripling/quadrupling your thread or even just want an easier shuttle loading method, this might be for you!

Up to four bobbins at a time can be slotted into the sardine with the threads coming out of its mouth ('Blech!' sounds while weaving with the shuttle are optional but encouraged).
The magnetic closure of the lid holds them in place just enough for them to not rotate freely, limiting messy thread 'Blech'. 

There are helpful windows in the lid for viewing the remaining thread on each bobbin, which can then be refilled easily and quickly on a sewing machine or bobbin winder.

The sardine measures 14.5cm long, 1.6cm thick and 3.8cm wide. It is compact enough for tablet weaving, as shown in pictures.

The 'sardine' accommodates four Class 15/A Style/SA156 bobbins. It's the typical bobbin type for most recent sewing machines designed for home use and are easily obtainable in large amounts for relatively cheap. If you would like four empty bobbins included in your order, please select the relevant option.

This shuttle is fully 3D modelled, designed, printed and hand-finished by myself (with input and testing by @Bearded_Weaver). It is printed on a Bambu P1S using Bambu Labs PLA filament.
